A dedicated, strait-laced FBI agent and a street-smart CIA agent are part of a new, clandestine taskforce charged with solving and preventing domestic terrorism in and around New York City.
The series is set inside the bubble of Silicon Valley, amid misguided corporate cultures, moony innovation labs and cutthroat private high schools. It is centered around a rift between a self-appointed “inventor of the future” tech CEO and his self-serving “performance psychologist”, who are engulfed in a scandal sparked by the exploitation of personal data.
It tells the story of Adolfo Novak, patriarch of one of the most powerful families in the country, who gathers his family and close friends to celebrate his 80th birthday.
Behind the toasts and smiles lie decades of secrets, betrayals, blind loyalties and a strong desire for revenge. The evening will end up blowing up and revealing a truth that, when finally comes to light, will be much more unexpected and surprising than any previous suspicion.
Production details for Crookhaven, the upcoming television adaptation of J.J. Arcanjo’s The School for Thieves series, are currently being kept under wraps.
